First contact
If you feel that counselling could be a supportive next step, I warmly invite you to get in touch. You’re welcome to contact me by email, phone, or through my contact form — whichever feels most comfortable — and I aim to reply within 24 hours.
For Individual Counselling:
I offer a brief introductory call (free of charge) – ideally via Teams, or by phone if that feels easier for you – at a mutually convenient time. This first conversation gives us space to think together about what has brought you to counselling, whether you prefer in‑person or online sessions, and whether you’re looking for short‑term or ongoing support. It also offers an opportunity to get a sense of whether working together feels right for you.
For Couples Counselling:
From an email enquiry, we can arrange a first (charged) session, with no obligation to continue afterwards. Meeting together in this way gives both partners the chance to share what brings you to therapy and to get a feel for how the work might unfold.
If your initial enquiry is by phone, we’ll keep the call short, as both partners are unlikely to be present. In this situation, I offer a brief call to the other partner so that each of you has an opportunity for initial contact before your first session. From there, we can arrange your first (charged) session, again with no obligation to continue.
First session
Our first session is a chance to settle in. You’re welcome to ask questions, share any thoughts or concerns, or simply take your time as we begin to shape our work together.
Session structure & fees
Sessions are held weekly, on the same day and at the same time each week. It is this regular rhythm that helps create a consistent, reliable space for the therapeutic work to unfold.
For Individual Counselling: my fee is £60 per session for both in-person and online counselling. Each session lasts 50 minutes. I offer both time-limited and open-ended counselling options, tailored to your needs.
Couples Counselling: my fee is £110 per session for both in-person and online counselling. Each session lasts 60 minutes. I offer both time-limited and open-ended counselling options, tailored to your needs.
Confidentiality
Everything you share with me is treated with care and confidentiality. As part of my professional practice, I attend regular supervision to ensure I’m offering the best possible support. In supervision, I may share aspects of our work together, but this is held within a confidential, ethically bound space.
Outside of supervision, your information is not shared with anyone else, unless I have serious concerns about your safety or the safety of others. If that ever became the case, I would always aim to speak with you about it first, wherever possible.
Ethical body
I am a registered member of the BACP and work in line with their ethical framework for good practice.
